Uncommon views

A broken-off daffodil flower brought indoors:





And below, the latest installation on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. Caught on my phone as I was on the way to the National Gallery, and without my camera.

The sculpture by Hans Haacke is called Gift Horse. It depicts a skeletal, riderless horse. The bow tied to the front leg is an electronic ribbon displaying in real time the live ticker of the London Stock Exchange.
