From the towpath - reflections

A stretch of canal I had never previously visited.

Autumn skies

The first image - red sun, yellow sky - arose as the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia hit Britain, whipping up Saharan sand and smoke from Iberian forest fires.

The other images are autumn evening skies seen from the back of my house.

Rainbow

A sudden heavy shower, a sudden shaft of sunlight, a sudden, brief rainbow . . . hardly any time to grab the camera . . . high ISO, quick shots. There was a full arc but nowhere to stand to capture all of it at once. And for a few seconds, a faint second bow.
